ARRI announces the release of Software Update Packet (SUP) 2.2.22 for the Wireless Compact Unit WCU-4.
This is a maintenance release with the following improvements and changes:
- Fixes an issue showing the focus scale of Master Macro 100 on the WCU-4 lens data display
- Fixes a bug causing a corrupt lens file after programming more than 25 data points on a lens scale
- Fixes an issue that could cause random system crashes
- Re-enables erasing a previously programmed data point
- Improves stability of SD card handling
- Fixes an issue with entering a custom lens name with more than 11 characters
- Fixes an issue that would disable the user button and zoom stick in some setup menus
- Disables lens programming with uncalibrated motors
- Removes lens programming “Quick Mode”
- Fixes an issue with the focus point counter while programming overlapping focus points
- Fixes a potential system crash when accessing the “Edit Lens File” menu without an SD card
- Re-enables 1” increments while programming a lens in close focus
- Fixes an issue that would cause the knob/slider configuration not to be saved in a user setup file
- Fixes an issue that would cause the blue focus tracking mark sometimes to be displayed without using UDM-1
- Improves transmission of lens data and camera setup information
